Don’t mind me just looking at 228i cars online. Black is just fine I guess:

Kinja'd!!!

But this looks really nice and as much as black cars are boring, looking at these seats everyday would be a nice consolation prize:

Kinja'd!!!

What I just keep telling myself is any modern turbo car will have rev hang(which drives me nuts in my beetle) so I should just stay committed to working on the 911.

Just an FYI, a lot of the rev hang is programmed in. When I tuned my FiST, most of the rev hang disappeared. The rest of it is due to the flywheel, which can be changed too.

Thanks, I’ve heard some cars it can be tuned away, I just wish I could look at a modern car and tell myself I’d be happy with it “out of the box” so to speak.

I loved mine out of the box, but then I experienced one with a tune. There are several reliable VW tuners out there. I have a friend that had a 400whp Mk6 GTI that had no problems for 190k miles(it made that power from like 40k miles) using parts from APR. The engine immediately blew on the next owner after he traded it in on a FiST, but that was because the dumbass used 87 octane.

APR, that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. I always wanted a B5 S4 sporting an APR Stage III package. It would be a fantastic car until it breaks down just sitting in the garage for a couple of days. This criticism is not of APR, but Audi. APR’s Audi stuff is legendary. They may not put out peak power like the other guys, but they make safe power. I guess as long as you use the proper fuel. I think they will even let you test drive ECU flashes on certain cars. They program your car, and in three days it reverts back to stock.
